About this hackathon
Model Wars:
Model Wars is a 2-day, high-intensity Machine Learning and Data Engineering competition where participants build, train, and optimize machine learning models using real-world datasets. Teams will work through data analysis, feature engineering, model development, hyperparameter tuning, and optimization under strict time and computational constraints.
But Model Wars goes beyond traditional ML competitions — the models you build will ultimately face off against each other in a Rocket League-style tournament. Teams will put their trained models to the ultimate test as they compete head-to-head in an arena-based battle, where model performance, strategy, and optimization determine the winner.
With a dynamic competitive environment, live results, and a unique blend of Machine Learning + competitive gaming, Model Wars challenges participants to turn their code into a model capable of outperforming the competition.
Guidelines:
Form teams and build your own ML model.
Analyze the given dataset and develop an optimized model.
Use ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Complete development within the given time and computational limits.
Submit your final model before the specified deadline.
Qualified models will face off against each other in a Rocket League tournament.
No plagiarism, unauthorized code, or unfair practices.
Any form of misconduct may lead to disqualification.
The organizers' decision regarding the competition will be final.
