MADLAB — Crazy Ideas. Real Execution.
A Multidisciplinary Innovation Hackathon
About the Opportunity
MADLAB is a high-energy, multidisciplinary hackathon designed for individuals who dare to think differently, communicate confidently, build creatively, and execute ideas into practical solutions. The competition brings together software developers, marketing enthusiasts, sales strategists, business students, designers, and aspiring entrepreneurs to solve challenges through innovation, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
This is not just a coding competition. Participants will be evaluated on their creativity, technical and practical skills, communication, problem-solving, marketing strategies, sales approach, and ability to present and execute ideas.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to college students and aspiring professionals with an interest in technology, business, marketing, sales, design, or entrepreneurship.
Participants from all academic streams and specializations are welcome.
Students from different colleges can form a team together (inter-college participation is allowed).
Participants from different specializations can collaborate in the same team (inter-specialization participation is encouraged).
No advanced coding experience is mandatory. Creativity, communication, business thinking, and execution matter just as much as technical skills.
Participants must provide accurate registration details and follow the event organizers' instructions.
Team Formation
Participants may register individually or in teams of 2–5 members.
Teams may include developers, marketers, sales representatives, designers, presenters, and business strategists.
Each team should distribute responsibilities effectively and ensure that every member contributes.
Each team must nominate one member as its primary point of contact.
Team changes after registration require approval from the organizers.
Competition Format and Rounds
Round 1: The Spark — Problem-Solving and Ideation (30 minutes)
Teams receive a problem statement and identify the problem, target audience, and potential solution. They must demonstrate original thinking, practical reasoning, and a clear understanding of the challenge.

Round 4: The Crossfire — Judges' Q&A (3–5 minutes per team)
Judges question teams about their decisions, originality, feasibility, technical implementation, marketing approach, sales strategy, and scalability. Participants must demonstrate ownership of their work and respond professionally.
