About the Opportunity:
JAI 2026 Hackathon – Jaypee Agentic AI Hackathon 2026 is an offline hackathon by Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. Designed for team participation, this coding challenge invites participants to engage with the possibilities of agentic AI through hands-on problem-solving.
Track 1 — Agentic AI for Cybersecurity:
Build an autonomous cybersecurity agent/system capable of detecting, analysing, investigating, and responding to security threats.
Track 2 — Agentic AI for Healthcare:
Build an Agentic AI solution that assists with healthcare-related decision support, information management, patient interaction, or workflow automation.
Track 3 — Agentic AI for Natural Language Processing (NLP):
Build an Agentic AI system that autonomously performs complex natural language understanding, information extraction, reasoning, generation, or multilingual NLP tasks.
Track 4 — Agentic AI for Open Innovation:
Build an Agentic AI solution that addresses an open-ended real-world problem using autonomous reasoning, tool use, data, APIs, and/or multi-agent collaboration.
Eligibility / Registration Requirement:
To ensure participation is limited to teams with demonstrated technical and development experience, registration will follow a project-based selection process.
Each team must submit details of one previously developed project that is relevant to at least one of the hackathon themes.
The submitted project does not necessarily have to be an Agentic AI project. However, it should demonstrate relevant technical experience and include a working prototype that can serve as evidence of the team's development capabilities.
Prototype Demonstration Video:
Each team must submit a video of less than 5 minutes demonstrating their previously developed working prototype.
The video should:
Be less than 5 minutes in duration.
Clearly demonstrate the working prototype.
Briefly explain the problem being addressed and the proposed solution.
Demonstrate the major features and functionality of the project.
Show one or more members of the team during the demonstration.
Clearly establish that the submitted project was developed by the participating team.
Preferably include a brief explanation of the contribution of the participating team members.
Round 1: Online mode, Deadline: 15 October 2026
Round 2: Offline mode, 30-31 October 2026
