About this hackathon
Join us at Maria 01 in Helsinki for an evening focused on practical AI in HR. We’ll begin with a talk from special guest speaker Katja Rantala, who will share how Aiven’s HR teams use AI and purpose-built tools to work more effectively, make better use of their time, and support their people with smarter internal processes. After the talk, the evening turns hands-on. You’ll get the chance to build your own HR tool with Luo, an AI platform designed to help anyone create the tools and AI agents they need without a heavy technical setup. Whether you’re thinking about hiring workflows, internal support, people operations, or everyday HR tasks that could run more smoothly, this is a chance to turn ideas into something real. The Luo team will host the evening and help guide the session, making it approachable for both HR professionals and anyone curious about what AI can actually do in day-to-day work. If you want fresh ideas, a practical starting point, and a room full of people building at the same time, this will be a great way to spend your evening. Agenda 17:00 — Doors open.
