Haven Budapest - Teen Only Game Jam Hackathon

Haven Budapest is a 12-hour game jam where you’ll build your own video game from scratch, team up with other teens, and learn by doing. No experience needed! 🎮 What is Haven? Haven is organized by Hack Club, a nonprofit that supports a global community of 100,000+ teen coders and makers. On the same weekend, Haven events take place in 200+ cities around the world, and Budapest is one of them! What will you do? 🛠️ Learn: we kick off with a beginner-friendly workshop on the Godot game engine, so you can start building right away. 👥 Build: work in a team of up to 3 for 12 hours, with mentors around the whole time to help you. 🏆 Show off: at the end of the day, everyone presents and play-tests each other’s games, and we vote on the winners in creative categories. Who can join? 🎮 Teens aged 13–18 only. Never coded before? → SIGN UP! Never made a game? → SIGN UP! Into art or music? → SIGN UP! A great team needs more than just programmers. Bring a friend who draws or makes music. No team
