About the Event Welcome to Haven Ahmedabad, a beginner-friendly, 24-hour problem-solving game jam tailored specifically for high school students. Scheduled for November 14th to 15th, this event invites programmers, artists, and engineers to spend 24 immersive hours together building fun computer games. Following in the footsteps of major gatherings like Daydream and Campfire Ahmedabad (which was hosted at Ahmedabad University on February 28, 2026, as part of Hack Club's worldwide network of 100 concurrent events and 7,000 attendees), Haven brings the vibrant energy of global hackathons right to your doorstep. Organized under Hack Club—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering over 50,000 teenagers worldwide to code—this is your space to innovate, create, and collaborate. Our Mission Our mission is to inspire the next generation of makers across Gujarat and beyond by introducing you to game development in a fun, collaborative, and low-stakes environment. Working in teams, you will tackle exciting challenges and build incredible projects that enhance your creativity, collaboration, and innovation skills. For us, hacking is all about problem-solving, making cool projects, and forging lifelong friendships with fellow coders, makers, and artists. Requirements Demographics: The event is open to high school students (almost all under 18) who are excited to code. Technology: Attendees need to bring their own devices and setup to code, with Wi-Fi and power outlets provided at the venue to support participants. Safety & Permissions: Attendees must follow the official Code of Conduct. Leaving the premises is restricted except during designated, parent-approved outdoor activities with the appropriate parental waiver signed.
