HACK ATTACK — 8-Hour Inter-College Hackathon
AMC Engineering College presents HACK ATTACK — an 8-Hour Inter-College Hackathon where students come together to build, collaborate, innovate, and create impactful technology solutions to real-world problems.
Participants will get the opportunity to work on problem statements revealed on the day of the hackathon and develop working prototypes within a limited time frame.

Tracks
Participants can build solutions under any one of the following three tracks:
1. AI & ML
Build intelligent solutions that address real-world problems using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Vision, NLP, or related technologies.
2. Web & App Development
Create useful and impactful web or mobile applications that solve practical problems and improve user experiences.
3. Sustainability & Social Impact
Develop technology-driven solutions that contribute towards sustainability, accessibility, community welfare, or meaningful social impact.
Team Formation & Eligibility
The hackathon is open to college/university students.
Students from any academic specialization or department can participate.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization/inter-department teams are allowed.
Teams can consist of 2–4 members.
A participant can be part of only one team.
Teams must register with accurate participant and college details.
All team members must carry a valid college/student ID for verification.
Problem Statements & Format
Problem statements will be revealed on the day of the hackathon.
Teams will select a problem statement aligned with one of the available tracks.
Participants will have 8 hours to ideate, develop, test, and present their solution.
The primary objective is to produce a working prototype/MVP that demonstrates the proposed solution.
Teams are expected to explain the problem, their approach, implementation, and impact during the final presentation/demo.
The number and details of problem statements will be announced at the beginning of the hackathon.

The exact submission and presentation instructions will be communicated to participants during the event.
Rules
Each team must consist of 2–4 participants.
Participants must register through the official registration process.
Participants can be part of only one team.
Teams may use technologies, frameworks, libraries, APIs, and development tools relevant to their solution, subject to the hackathon guidelines.
The solution should primarily be developed during the hackathon. Pre-existing libraries, frameworks, boilerplate code, and development tools may be used, but submitting an already-built project as the final solution is not permitted.
Plagiarism or direct copying of another team's solution will result in disqualification.
Teams must submit their project within the specified deadline.
Teams must be able to demonstrate their working solution to the judging panel.
Teams are responsible for bringing their own laptops and required development equipment.
Participants must follow the instructions provided by the organizers and mentors throughout the event.
Any form of misconduct, cheating, harassment, or disruption of the event may result in disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify teams that violate the rules or provide misleading information during registration.
The decision of the judging panel and organizing committee will be final and binding.
