About GENESIS GENESIS – The Hackathon is a state-level, team-based technical hackathon organized by the Department of Information Technology, JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune, under IMPACT 2026. Participants will tackle technical and real-world challenges through problem-solving, coding, innovation, and teamwork. Eligibility & Team Details Open to college students. Team Size: 4–5 members Inter-college teams: Allowed Inter-specialization/branch teams: Allowed Each participant can be part of only one team. Competition Format Round 1 – Online AssessmentAn online assessment to evaluate participants' technical knowledge, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Shortlisted teams will qualify for the offline rounds. Round 2 – Offline Round 1A team-based technical challenge conducted at JSPM’s RSCOE, Tathawade, Pune, focusing on problem-solving and technical skills. Round 3 – Offline Final RoundFinalist teams will compete in an on-campus challenge requiring them to apply their technical knowledge, creativity, and teamwork to solve the given challenge. Detailed instructions, timings, and requirements for each round will be communicated through Unstop and official event channels. Rules External registration is mandatory. Teams must consist of 4–5 members. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are allowed. Participants can be part of only one team. All submissions must be completed within the given deadlines. Plagiarism, impersonation, or unfair practices will result in disqualification. Participants must follow all round-specific instructions.
