About GameForge ’26
GameForge ’26 is a two-day offline game jam organized by the GameDev Guild Students Club (GDGSC) at USAR, GGSIPU East Delhi Campus, New Delhi, as part of Elysian 2026. Participants will develop playable digital games on campus over two days based on a surprise theme revealed at the beginning of the competition.
Eligibility & Team Formation
Open to college students interested in game development and related fields.
Individual and team registrations are allowed, with a maximum of 4 members per team.
Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are permitted.
All participants must register before the deadline.
Competition Format
Dates: 21–22 October 2026.
Duration: 2 days, conducted offline at the university campus.
Theme: One surprise theme will be announced at the start.
Process: Teams develop, test, and submit a playable digital game within the event period.
Tools & Resources
Participants may use suitable game engines and development tools.
Third-party assets and AI tools may be used where permitted and must be credited.
The core game must be developed during the competition.
Competition Rules
Team Size: Maximum 4 members per team.
Originality: Pre-existing completed games cannot be submitted.
Theme: Every game must meaningfully incorporate the surprise theme.
Submission: Teams must submit a playable build before the deadline.
Fair Play: Plagiarism or misrepresentation may result in disqualification.
Evaluation: Games may be judged on creativity, gameplay, theme integration, technical execution, and presentation.
Compliance: Participants must follow the organizers’ instructions and event guidelines.
