The Boston University Blockchain Club is excited to host our first Beginner Hackathon & Pitchathon, a beginner-focused event designed to educate, inspire, and empower the next generation of blockchain innovators. This event brings together students from top universities across the Greater Boston area to explore Web3 technologies, develop innovative solutions, and pitch their ideas to industry experts and investors. Event Details: Date: November 16, 2025Location: Photonics Building (PHO 906), Boston University8 St Mary's St, Boston, MA 02215Participants: students from universities across the Greater Boston areaWe will be having two tracks:Technical Topic: Open InnovationRequirements: Full smart contracts, public repo, pitch deckPrize: 1st $400, 2nd $200, 3rd $100Pitchathon Topic: AI x Web3, DeFi, Be CreativeRequirements: Pitch deck, business planPrize: 1st $400, 2nd $200, 3rd $100 Schedule for the day: • 9:00 AM – Check-in & breakfast • 10:00 AM – Team formation & hacking begins • 12:30 PM – Lunch • 4:15 PM – Pitchathon Presentations • 5:30 PM – Winner announcements & prizes How to get involved We encourage all students to sign up for this fun opportunity.
