About this hackathon

Build the future of autonomous agents. Win Mac Minis and other prizes. We’re bringing the OpenClaw and GOAT Network stack to Toronto students for a high-intensity, one-day sprint with the support of the CanCode grant program from the Government of Canada. The mission: Build an AI agent that doesn’t just talk but owns its identity, manages its own wallet and transact with other agents. Event Details ● Date: March 2026 (Exact Date TBD) ● Time: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM ● Location: Toronto, ON (Venue TBD) ● Cost: Free for students (Registration Required) ● Perks: Mac Mini prizes for top teams, free pizza, snacks, and drinks all day. How This Works (Waitlist Only) 1. Join the Waitlist: We are currently finalizing the venue capacity. 2. Get Early Access: Waitlisted builders get the registration link 48 hours before the general public. The Challenge Your mission is to deploy an autonomous AI agent using OpenClaw and the GOAT Network that can think, identify itself, “talk to” the other agents and most importantly - do the job and get paid. You will learn how to: Deploy Autonomous AI Agents: host and run OpenClaw AI on AWS Lightsail Learn how to use Coral for one-click agent launches Connect your backend agent to Telegram Implement the x402 protocol to give your AI agent its own "wallet” to enable agents to send and receive payments autonomously for the services they provide Build a "soul" for your agent using the ERC-8004 standard. You'll learn how to register an agent’s identity on-chain so it can be verified and trusted by other users and bots. Ship on the GOAT Network where your AI Agent connects to other AI Agents and gets paid.
