ECE Society, BIT Mesra proudly presents its flagship innovation event: Tech-A-Thon 5.0. This month-long hybrid inter-college innovation sprint, scheduled from 18th July to 23rd August 2026, brings together students from across India to develop impactful solutions. Theme: GreenGrid: Agro-Tech and Rural Development Areas of Focus: Smart Agriculture & Precision Farming Food Processing & Supply Chain Innovation Rural Development & Accessibility Sustainable Energy & Automation AI/ML for Agricultural Applications IoT & Embedded Systems for Rural Solutions Open Innovation Participants will leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Embedded Systems, Automation, Electronics, and Web Technologies, to create sustainable solutions for real-world problems. Exciting rewards await the top performers. Let your ideas cultivate the future. Eligibility Open to students pursuing full-time B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech/M.E.  or Dual Degree programs from engineering colleges across India. Participants must register in teams of 1–3 members. Cross-college teams are allowed. Cross-year teams are allowed. Cross-specialization teams are allowed. Rules and Guidelines All members of the team must register using their WhatsApp numbers. All members must register using their official university email IDs. If unavailable, a Gmail ID may be used. A participant must be a member of only one team. Rounds and Stages Round 1 :  Quiz-A-Bit A 60-question multiple-choice assessment covering aptitude, technology, electronics, and general awareness. Any one team member may attempt the quiz, and the score obtained will represent the team's total for Round 1. You can attempt the assessment once the round is live- Friday, July 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM till Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 11:59 AM. Each team is allowed only one attempt. The assessment must be completed in a single sitting i.e., you must finish the task before the timer runs out. There is no negative marking. In case of a tie, completion time will be considered first, followed by accuracy. Round 2 : Tech-A-Bit (Hackathon Round) All shortlisted teams will gain access to the detailed problem statement once the round goes live on 29th July 2025. The document will clearly outline the challenge, steps to follow, and the evaluation process. Once completed, team leaders will be required to submit their solution as per the instructions provided in the problem statement. This may include a private GitHub repository link and any other assets or documentation needed for evaluation. Further submission instructions and access credentials will be shared closer to the round launch. The Submission window is from Wednesday, July 29, 2026, to Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 11:59 PM. Teams can change their submissions until 11:50 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Only the team leader can make the submission. Participants can choose a topic from the provided list or propose their own ideas based on the theme. If we select your topic, you and others can work on projects related to it. Round 3 : Presentation of Solutions Top teams will present their solutions before the panel of Team ECESoc. Presentations may be conducted in online or offline mode based on the feasibility of the participants and event requirements. Final schedules and presentation guidelines will be communicated to shortlisted teams. Round 4: Grand Finale Top Teams from the Presentation Round will finally present the solutions on the final Day where the winners will be decided. This presentation may be conducted in online or offline mode based on the feasibility of the participants and the event requirements. Rewards and Prizes Winning teams will receive exclusive prizes, goodies, and recognition. Winning teams will receive exclusive goodies worth ₹20k.
