FutureHack 🚀 FutureHack is a one-day hackathon for 13–19 year olds who are curious about technology, innovation, and building the future. Whether you've never written a line of code or you've already built your own apps, FutureHack is designed for anyone with an interest in creating something new. No experience is required—just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. About Innovation Ireland Innovation Ireland is a youth-led community helping young people explore technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation through events, workshops, and hands-on projects. We believe that great ideas can come from anyone, and we're building opportunities for young people to learn, collaborate, and create ambitious projects together. About IdeasLab IdeasLab is the University of Galway's student innovation hub, where ideas become reality. We help students develop creative thinking, solve real-world challenges, and build the skills and confidence to turn ideas into action. Through hands-on workshops, hackathons, mentoring, industry challenges, internships, and startup support, we connect students with leading companies and experienced innovators. Whether you're interested in technology, business, sustainability, healthcare, or making a difference in your community, IdeasLab is a place to explore, create, and innovate. What to Expect FutureHack is all about teamwork, creativity, and learning. You'll join a team (or bring your own), meet other ambitious young people, and spend the day building a project around this year's theme: 🌍 FutureHack Throughout the day you'll have access to mentors, technical support, and workshops to help turn your idea into reality. There will also be top-class workshops delivered by IdeasLab and other guest speakers, covering topics designed to inspire and help you build better projects. Whether your project is an app, website, AI tool, hardware prototype, game, or something completely unexpected—we want to see it. Prizes We'll be awarding some exciting prizes to standout projects across a range of categories. More details will be announced soon! Food & Refreshments We'll be providing free food and refreshments throughout the event, so you can focus on building and having fun. Accessibility FutureHack is for everyone.
