About the Organizer: HackoSquad is a growing cybersecurity community dedicated to helping students and enthusiasts learn ethical hacking, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and build a strong foundation in cybersecurity through hands-on, practical challenges. We believe the best way to learn security is by breaking (and fixing) things—and that's exactly what our CTFs are built for. About the Event: Get ready for HackoSquad's first-ever Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, wrapped in an exciting Marvel x DC superhero theme! ‍️‍️ This CTF is designed to be the perfect starting point for beginners while still offering a genuine challenge for advanced players. Participants will solve a series of hacking puzzles ("flags") across multiple categories to earn points and climb the leaderboard—all within a single high-energy 6-hour window. Categories: Cryptography Web Exploitation OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) Forensics Reverse Engineering Miscellaneous/Trivia Challenges Whether you've never participated in a CTF before or you've solved dozens, this event is built to teach, test, and challenge you. Event Details: Date: Sunday, 26 July 2026 Time: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM IST Mode: Online Registration Fee: Free Team Size: Individual/Team (as applicable) Participant Limit: 60 (limited slots on a first-come, first-served basis) Eligibility: Open to all college students, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and beginners. Why Participate?: Learn real-world, practical cybersecurity skills. Beginner-friendly challenges with opportunities to test advanced skills. Compete with participants from colleges across the region. Free to enter with no barriers to starting your CTF journey. Enjoy fun, superhero-themed challenges. Enhance your resume and cybersecurity portfolio. Prizes & Perks: Exciting prizes and vouchers for top performers. E-certificates for all participants. Recognition on HackoSquad's platform and community channels. Surprise goodies for top scorers. Rules & Guidelines: Participants must register individually or in teams (as applicable) before the event begins. Flag sharing, plagiarism, or the use of unfair means will lead to disqualification. Decisions made by the HackoSquad team regarding scoring and rankings will be final. Participants are expected to maintain fair play and respectful conduct throughout the event. Further platform and tool details will be shared with registered participants closer to the event date. Note: Registrations are limited to 60 participants. Once the limit is reached, registrations will close automatically, so register early to secure your spot. Suit Up. Hack. Solve. Conquer. Are you ready to be the hero? ‍️‍️
