From IP tracking and phishing attacks to data leaks and website vulnerabilities, individuals and organizations face security risks every day. CyberCoders provides a platform for participants to create practical tools that help users understand, detect, prevent, and respond to these threats. Challenge Theme: Build a website, web application, browser extension, dashboard, or cybersecurity tool that addresses a real-world security problem. Example Project Ideas: IP address tracking and analysis tools, Website vulnerability scanners, Phishing detection platforms, Privacy awareness dashboards, Secure password management systems, Security monitoring dashboards, Network traffic analyzers, Cyber threat intelligence platforms, Digital footprint analyzers, Security education and training websites. What Makes CyberCoders Special? Unlike traditional hackathons that focus on general software development, CyberCoders is dedicated entirely to cybersecurity innovation. Participants are encouraged to build practical solutions that can help create a safer digital environment. Whether you're a beginner learning about web security or an experienced developer building advanced protection systems, CyberCoders welcomes creative ideas that make cybersecurity more accessible and effective. Submission Requirements: Participants must submit: A working website or web application, Source code repository (GitHub/GitLab), Project description, Screenshots or demo video, Explanation of the security problem addressed, Documentation of features and implementation. Judging Criteria: Innovation (30%), Impact (30%), Technical Implementation (25%), User Experience (15%). Rules: Projects must be developed during the hackathon period, Open-source libraries and frameworks are allowed, Teams may consist of 1–4 members, All submissions must comply with ethical cybersecurity practices, Malicious software, illegal activities, or harmful tools are strictly prohibited. Our Mission: CyberCoders aims to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity innovators by encouraging participants to build solutions that protect users, strengthen digital privacy, and contribute to a safer internet for everyone.
