Debug Decrypt 3.0: The Ultimate Algorithm Challenge

DEBUG DECRYPT 3.0 is a multi-stage competitive programming competition designed to test participants' knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, programming fundamentals, logical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving. The competition starts with an online qualification round, followed by an on-campus algorithmic challenge and a final championship round.
The event is open to students from all academic years, including first-year students who want to test their programming skills.
Competition Structure
Round 1: Online Qualification Round (MCQ)
Date: 13 October 2026
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Mode: Online
Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
This round tests programming fundamentals, Data Structures, and logical reasoning. Teams will be shortlisted based on their performance.
Round 2: Algorithmic Challenge (On-Campus)
Date: 15 October 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Venue: Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram
Shortlisted teams will solve algorithmic problems that test their implementation skills, logical thinking, and ability to develop efficient solutions.
Round 3: Final Championship (On-Campus)
Date: 15 October 2026
Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The finalists will compete in advanced algorithmic challenges focused on optimization, analytical thinking, and efficient implementation. Winners will be decided based on their performance in the competition.
Prizes and Rewards
The total cash prize pool is ₹18,000, along with CodeCrafters VIP memberships for the top three teams.

Eligibility and Team Formation
Students from all academic years can participate.
Participation is team-based.
Each team must have 2 to 3 members.
Students from different colleges and academic specializations may participate together, subject to the organizers' team verification rules.
First-year students are encouraged to participate.
All registered teams must complete the online qualification round to be considered for shortlisting.
Rules and Guidelines
Teams must complete registration before 12 October 2026 at 12:00 AM midnight.
The online qualification round will take place on 13 October 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Only shortlisted teams will advance to the on-campus rounds.
Participants must follow the instructions, time limits, and submission procedures announced by the organizers.
Plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, unfair practices, or attempts to manipulate results may lead to disqualification.
Teams must provide accurate registration details and complete the verification process.
Team members cannot be changed after the registration deadline.
Participants must maintain fair play and professional conduct throughout the event.
The organizers may share additional instructions with registered participants before or during the competition.
