About the Competition: Samarthya 2026 is a National Level Hybrid Project Competition organized by the SKN IEEE Student Branch to encourage innovation, creativity, and problem solving among students. The competition provides a platform for participants to present impactful technical projects, receive valuable feedback from industry experts and academicians, and compete with talented teams from across the country. The competition welcomes innovative projects from all engineering disciplines and technology domains. Whether your project addresses real world challenges, introduces a novel solution, or showcases cutting edge technology, Samarthya 2026 offers an opportunity to present your work before experienced judges and gain national recognition. The competition follows a three stage evaluation process designed to assess the quality, innovation, implementation, and presentation of each project. Teams from outside Pune may participate in the Final Round through online mode. Competition Timeline: Round 1 – Project Proposal PPT Submission (Online): Teams must submit a presentation describing their project idea, objectives, methodology, innovation, implementation plan, expected outcomes, and future scope. Round 2 – Video Pitch Submission (Online): Qualified teams must submit a short project demonstration or pitch video explaining their solution. Recommended Duration: 3 to 5 Minutes. The video should clearly explain: Problem Statement. Proposed Solution. Working Prototype. Technologies Used. Future Scope. Evaluation Parameters: Communication. Prototype Demonstration. Technical Implementation. Practicality. Creativity. The Top 80 teams will qualify for the Grand Finale. Round 3 – Final Presentation and Question-Answer Session: Mode: Hybrid. Top 80 shortlisted teams will present their project before the judging panel. Presentation Duration: 10 Minutes. Question-Answer Session: 5 Minutes. Teams from Pune will present offline. Responses during Question Answer Session. The judges' decision will be final. Eligibility: Open to Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate students. Rules and Guidelines: The submitted project must be the original work of the participants. Teams must ensure that all submitted information is accurate. Plagiarism in any form will lead to immediate disqualification. Projects already published commercially are not allowed. Teams must submit all required documents before the specified deadline. One participant cannot register in multiple teams for the same project. The organizing committee reserves the right to reject incomplete or inappropriate submissions. Participants should maintain professional conduct throughout the competition. Internet connectivity for online presentations is the responsibility of the participants. Teams must be available during their assigned presentation slot. Participants should keep the project source code and supporting files ready if requested by the judges. Any attempt to influence the judging process will result in immediate disqualification. The decision of the organizing committee and judges shall be final and binding.
