About this hackathon

Welcome to D3COY: Outsmart the Obvious! D3COY is a 24-hour national-level innovation hackathon organized by the DJSISACA Student Chapter at DJSCE. This event brings together developers, designers, problem-solvers, and tech enthusiasts to tackle real-world challenges in security, privacy, and digital trust. The hackathon challenges participants to strip away the safety nets, think beyond conventional solutions, and develop resilient, technically sound products within a high-intensity 24-hour adversarial environment. You will not only build but also adapt in real-time to unscripted mid-event curveballs and live constraints.Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their technical skills, adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while competing with top teams from across partner colleges, all while being judged and mentored by industry professionals. Round 0 - PPT Screening (Selection Round) :  The journey to D3COY begins with our online screening round. All teams will be provided with a single, common Problem Statement (PS) for Round 0. You will be evaluated based on your unique approach to solving this specific challenge. Selection will be based on:   Quality and originality of the proposed solution (PPT submission based on the provided common Problem Statement).   Technical understanding of the problem statement.   Feasibility and potential impact of the proposed approach.   Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and Future Scope, demonstrating what sets     your idea apart and how it can be scaled or applied in the real world. Teams must submit their solution PPT and the resumes of all team members as part of the Round 0 submission. The top 36 shortlisted teams will earn the exclusive opportunity to advance to the on-site 24-hour hackathon at the DJSCE campus. Team Formation :    Team Size: Minimum 2 and Maximum 4 members per team.   Inter-College Teams: Allowed (Team members can be from different colleges).   Each team must successfully complete the Round 0 registration and submission requirements. Registration Fee : Registration Fee: ₹200 per team. (Note: This entry fee applies only to the Round 0 selection phase. Teams that are shortlisted will not have to pay any additional fees for the main 24-hour offline hackathon). Accommodation, Meals & Perks (For Shortlisted Teams) :    On-campus workspace and accommodation will be provided strictly for the 24-hour duration of the offline hackathon.   Please note: No accommodation will be provided prior to the start of the event or after the event concludes.   The 24-hour on-campus stay includes full meals, refreshments, and exclusive sponsor goodies/swag for all  Who Can Participate  (For the Main 24-Hour Hackathon) D3COY is open to all undergraduate students from any branch or background. Whether you are a security enthusiast, an AI developer, or a general innovator, there is a track for you. For the final on-site hackathon, participants will build solutions in one of the following tracks:   Network & Infrastructure Security: Build tools that defend shared,high-traffic systems from intrusion or abuse.   AI/ML Security & Deception: Develop deepfake/spoof detection, adversarial-ML defense, and model integrity tooling.   Data Privacy & Cryptography: Create secure storage, encryption tooling, and privacy-preserving data systems
