Heck-Venger: A 24-Hour Hackathon Welcome to Heck-Venger, a 24-hour Hackathon organized by Techlavya Ignite, where innovation meets technology. Join us for a power-packed day of coding, collaboration, and creativity as we challenge you to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Team Size: Minimum 2 members, Maximum 4 members Hackathon Rules & Judging Criteria: General Rules: Team Composition: Each team must consist of 2–4 members. All members of a team must be from the same college. Inter-college teams are not allowed. Eligibility: Open to all college students. Registration: All teams must register before the specified deadline. Late entries will not be accepted. Theme & Problem Statements: Teams must develop solutions based on the provided themes. Custom ideas must receive prior approval from the organizing committee. Time Limit: The total duration of the hackathon is 24 hours. Technology Stack: Participants are free to use any programming language, framework, or technology stack. Original Work: All projects must be developed during the hackathon. Pre-existing projects, templates with core logic pre-built, or plagiarism will lead to disqualification. Use of AI & Open-Source Tools: Open-source libraries and AI tools are allowed. However, proper attribution must be provided wherever applicable. Code Submission: Teams must submit their complete source code on GitHub (or any designated platform) before the final submission deadline. Presentation & Demo: Each team must present a live demonstration of their project. Pre-recorded demos will not be accepted. Judging Criteria: Projects will be evaluated based on the following parameters: Innovation & Creativity (20%) Originality and uniqueness of the idea. Technical Implementation (20%) Code quality, effective use of technology, and feasibility. Functionality (20%) Performance and completeness of implemented features. User Experience (15%) Ease of use, design clarity, and interface intuitiveness. Impact & Relevance (15%) Problem-solving capability and real-world applicability. Presentation & Pitch (10%) Clarity of explanation, demo effectiveness, and response to judges’ questions. Code of Conduct: Respect fellow participants, mentors, judges, and organizers. No offensive, harmful, unethical, or illegal content will be tolerated. Cheating, plagiarism, or sabotaging other teams will result in immediate disqualification. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify, add, or remove any rule in case of ambiguity or unforeseen circumstances.
