About this hackathon

Cursor, HappyRobot and Kibo Ventures are back in Madrid with a new hackathon, this time fully focused on one thing: building real products with AI agents. 🤯 ---- Details --- 🗓 Thursday, December 4th, 2025📍 Chamberí (HappyRobot office), Madrid👥 Teams of ~4 (apply solo or with a team)🎟️ Very limited spots · Attendance by approval🗣 Event language: English ---- What is HappyRobot? --- HappyRobot is a San Francisco–based company founded by Spanish entrepreneurs and considered one of the strongest startups in Silicon Valley. The company is backed by Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Base10, and has recently closed a $44M Series B. HappyRobot already works with global leaders such as DHL and is becoming the AI-native operating system for the real economy. Its platform combines real-time data, specialized AI agents and an orchestration layer capable of executing end-to-end processes, transforming how large-scale industries and supply chains operate and allowing humans to focus on higher-value work. During the event, we’ll use the HappyRobot platform – the same technology that powers critical operations in companies around the world. You’ll have the chance to build your own solution on top of it and experience how it behaves in real-world scenarios. ---- Who is Kibo Ventures? --- Kibo Ventures is one of the leading venture capital funds in Southern Europe, backing top-tier tech founders from early stages and helping them scale globally. They invest in AI, SaaS, deeptech and other high-impact technologies, and have supported some of the most relevant startups in the Spanish ecosystem. For this hackathon, Kibo Ventures will join us as collaborators, sharing their perspective on what makes an AI product truly fundable and scalable. You’ll have the opportunity to get feedback from investors who spend their time evaluating ambitious tech products and founders. ---- Hackathon format ---- You’ll have around 2 hours to design and ship a working prototype that uses: HappyRobot as your AI agent platform and orchestrator.Cursor as your rapid development environment to build the UI, backend, or automation around those agents. We’ll wrap up with live demos from every team. The goal is not perfection, but to build something compelling in a short amount of time, learn from each other, and have fun. Applications are approval-based: when you apply, tell us briefly who you are, why you want to join, and what you’ve built or worked on before. We’re aiming for a mix of people with solid experience and people with a lot of drive and curiosity. ---- Training & preparation ---- Before the event, we’ll share: Short training videos and materials on how to use the HappyRobot platform.Basic setup instructions so you arrive ready to build. The idea is that you can spend almost all of the hackathon time actually building, not figuring out the basics. ---- What to bring ---- Laptop + charger.A personal Cursor account (not Teams) – we’ll help you with credits.Willingness to experiment, break things, fix them, and demo live. 💥
