About
Calling all EVM and Solana builders.Your agent already acts for people: signing up, paying, dealing with other agents. What it can't do yet is prove that a verified human is accountable for it. With Concordium, the person behind the agent verifies once, and the agent carries a badge that agents and services on over 200 chains can check, with zero-knowledge proofs keeping that person's data private. Verify once. Prove everywhere. Reveal nothing. The Concordium Trusted Agents Hackathon is a free, six-week online programme for AI developers. Start with three weeks of live workshops with the Concordium team, then spend three weeks building on testnet with office hours twice a week. You don't need any Concordium or blockchain experience. If your agent runs on Ethereum, Solana or one of over 200 supported chains, this is for you.How it worksWeeks 1–3: learn. The hackathon brief and team formation open day one, followed by six 60-minute workshops every Monday and Wednesday at 15:00 UTC.Weeks 4–6: build. Build your project on Concordium testnet, with Concordium office hours every Tuesday and Friday.End of week 6: judging. Submissions close on Wednesday 9 December at 23:59 UTC, and Encode and Concordium then review every demo. What you'll build withx402: let your agent pay and get paid by other agents, with sponsored transactions so your users never deal with fees.ERC-8004: register your agent in the Agent Registry and link the address it already has, on Ethereum, Solana or one of over 200 supported chains. Its Agent Card follows the ERC-8004 format and carries the Verified by Concordium badge.Verified by Concordium badge: compatible with over 200 chains, it shows a verified human stands behind your agent. Zero-knowledge proofs keep their personal data private.Accountability: keep a record of what your agent does, built to support EU AI Act record keeping.Your existing framework: a hosted MCP server and A2A support mean you add all of this without rebuilding your agent. What we're looking forTest tokens are free, so judging is not about transaction counts. We're looking for depth: how meaningfully your project uses Concordium identity, the Agent Registry and agent payments, and how credible its path to production (going live on mainnet) is.Starter packEverything you need to go from zero to a running testnet build:Developer hub: the entry point to every SDK, tool and guideSmart contracts quick start: toolchain setup and your first contractRequest test CCD: the testnet faucet, so you never need to buy anything to buildSet up a wallet: browser, mobile and desktop optionsdApp examples and the GitHub examples repo: a working front end plus contract templates to forkWeb SDK (concordium-node-sdk-js): the JavaScript and TypeScript SDK most teams will useAgent Registry app and the Agent Registry technical reference: contract addresses, standards, the Agent Card and the badgeCCDExplorer: the block explorer for checking transactions and agentsAI agent technology overview: a one-page map of the agent stack covered in the workshops
