CodeVerse 2026 is a fully online Open Innovation Hackathon organized by CodeVerse Community. The hackathon is designed to encourage students across India to identify meaningful real-world problems and build innovative, practical and impactful technology-driven solutions.
Participants are free to work on ideas from any domain including Artificial Intelligence, Web Development, Data Science, Healthcare, Education, Sustainability, Automation, FinTech, Social Impact and other emerging technologies.
Eligibility
Open to college and university students across India.
Students from any year, branch or academic discipline may participate.
Team size: 1 to 4 members.
Solo participation is allowed.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-branch and inter-specialization teams are allowed.
A participant may be part of only one team.
Hackathon Format

Based on the evaluation, the Top 50 teams will be shortlisted for Round 2.

Based on the final evaluation, the Top 15 teams will be selected and the winners will be announced from among these teams. No additional submission round will be conducted after Round 2.

Rules
All submissions must be original.
Plagiarized or copied ideas, repositories or projects may lead to disqualification.
Open-source libraries, APIs and frameworks may be used, but their usage should be clearly disclosed.
AI tools may be used, but participants must understand and be able to explain their solution.
The submitted solution should primarily be developed during the CodeVerse 2026 hackathon period.
Pre-built projects cannot be directly submitted unless substantial new development is demonstrated during the hackathon.
GitHub repositories submitted in Round 2 must be accessible to the judging team.
Demo videos must not exceed the specified duration.
Fake links, inaccessible repositories, false student information or impersonation may result in disqualification.
Submission deadlines will be strictly followed.
The organizers may request clarification regarding any submission if required.
The decision of the judging panel will be final.
The organizers reserve the right to update timelines if required, with prior communication to participants.
