Code Yudh – Battle of Codes:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering proposes to host Code Yudh – Battle of Codes on 27–28 October, 2026. This hackathon aims to bring together creative, technically skilled, and innovative minds from diverse engineering disciplines to collaboratively design and develop solutions for real-world challenges.
The hackathon will be organized in a hybrid format, beginning with an online screening round based on PPT submissions, followed by an offline 24-hour final hackathon for shortlisted teams.
Key Objectives:
Foster Innovation & Creativity: Encourage participants to explore emerging technologies and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
Build Problem-Solving Competence: Challenge participants to apply their technical, analytical, and creative skills to solve complex problems.

Open Innovation
An open-ended track for bold, technology-driven ideas that address real-world problems beyond the defined hackathon themes. Participants are encouraged to identify meaningful challenges and develop innovative, scalable, and practical solutions across any domain.
Focus: AI/ML, Generative AI, Web & Mobile Technologies, IoT, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Data Science, Emerging Technologies.
Hackathon Structure:
Phase 1 – Online Screening
Teams will submit a PPT presentation describing their proposed solution, including the problem statement, proposed approach, technology stack, innovation, and expected impact.
Based on the submitted ideas, selected teams will advance to the final round.
Phase 2 – Offline 24-Hour Hackathon
Shortlisted teams will be invited to Chandigarh University to participate in the offline final round. Teams will work continuously for 24 hours to develop, test, and demonstrate their proposed solutions before the judging panel.
