Put your ethical hacking, reverse engineering, and digital forensics skills to the ultimate test in Cipher Chase — Capture the Flag (CTF)!
Hosted online via the CTFd platform, this high-intensity 24-hour competition features 24 challenges across key cybersecurity domains—including web exploitation, cryptography, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, and forensics. Race against the clock and rival teams to uncover hidden flags, collect points, and top the leaderboard!
️ Event Format & Mechanics
Platform: Conducted online through CTFd.
Duration: Exactly 24 continuous hours.
Challenge Pool: 24 distinct challenges spanning varying difficulty levels and cybersecurity domains.
️ Tooling: Publicly available resources, scripts, and open-source security tools are permitted unless explicitly restricted within a specific challenge statement.
Rules & Regulations
Team Size: Compete individually or in teams of up to 2 members.
Flag Submission: All flags must be submitted directly through the official CTFd platform to receive points.
Strict Zero-Collusion: Sharing flags, write-ups, or solution hints between competing teams during the active contest window is strictly prohibited.
Infrastructure Protection: Any automated attacks, denial-of-service attempts, or malicious activities targeting the CTF infrastructure, scoring platform, or fellow competitors will result in immediate and permanent disqualification.
Decisions: All decisions made by the organizing team and CTF administrators are final.
Evaluation Criteria
Primary Score: Final rankings are determined strictly by total points accumulated on the official CTFd leaderboard.
Tie-Breaker: Ties are automatically broken based on submission speed (the team that reaches the score first ranks higher).
