The Zoo API Makeathon is a virtual building competition focused on one goal: Create projects designed to inspire fellow developers, showcase new possibilities with Zoo APIs, and encourage others to build on, remix, and expand their ideas. Create something with Zoo's Engine API, Agent API, or File Format API that inspires others to build, remix, and push what's possible. We're looking for projects that help developers learn, inspire new ideas, and demonstrate practical ways to build with Zoo. Whether it's a developer tool, engineering workflow, automation, integration, open-source utility, AI-powered application, or something completely unexpected, the best submissions will be the ones that other developers want to explore, learn from, and build upon. Any industry. Any problem. Any idea worth building. Successful projects help others understand how Zoo works through clear code, thoughtful documentation, and creative applications. We especially encourage submissions that contribute back to the ecosystem by improving documentation, identifying areas for improvement, or demonstrating novel uses of the platform. All submissions must be open source and publicly available on GitHub so that the broader community can learn from, remix, and extend the work created during the Makeathon.
