About this hackathon
About the Competition
Think like a hacker. Investigate like a detective. Capture the flag!
Capture the Flag (CTF) is a cybersecurity challenge designed to test participants' technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through a series of security-related challenges.
Participants will work in teams to solve challenges involving web exploitation, cryptography, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), digital forensics, and steganography. Each successfully solved challenge earns points, and teams compete to achieve the highest total score.
Whether you enjoy decoding hidden messages, investigating digital evidence, analyzing web vulnerabilities, or solving cryptographic puzzles, CTF offers an opportunity to put your cybersecurity skills into practice.
Eligibility and Team Size
Open to students interested in cybersecurity and technical problem-solving.
Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
Participants must register according to the instructions provided by the organizers.
Competition Format
Round 1: Qualification
Teams will solve cybersecurity challenges from the following categories:
Web Exploitation: Identify and solve security-related challenges in web applications.
Cryptography: Decode encrypted information and solve cryptographic puzzles.
OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence): Investigate publicly available information to discover clues.
Digital Forensics: Analyze digital evidence to uncover useful information.
Steganography: Find hidden information concealed within files or digital media.
Teams earn points by successfully solving challenges. The team with the highest total score will be declared the winner.
Rules and Guidelines
Teams must consist of 3–4 registered members.
Participants may attack or test only the CTF environment provided by the organizers.
Attacking other teams' systems or infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
Denial-of-Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, malware deployment, and any activity that disrupts the event infrastructure are prohibited.
Sharing flags or challenge answers between teams is prohibited.
Participants must follow the organizers' instructions and maintain fair play throughout the competition.
Violations of the rules may result in disqualification.
The organizers' decisions regarding scoring and competition matters will be final.
Winner Selection
The winner will be determined by the highest total score earned by solving the challenges.
