Join us for the second Hungarian Robotics hackathon in Budapest from June 4-6. Hosted by the BME Robotics Club and powered by our sponsors Formlabs, Shapr3D, KAYA VC, ElevenLabs and the ShareTech Foundation! Watch the event video! Prizes Shapr3D special prize: 500$ (150k HUF) cash award to the best team designing with Shapr3D! (Pro licenses will be set up for the hackathon) ElevenLabs special prize: 2000$ worth of subscription per winning team member ElevenLabs runner up prize: 300$ worth of subscription per winning team member KAYA VC special prize: Opportunity to pitch ideas to KAYA Venture Capital + book prizes from KAYA The Task Build a system that interacts with humans in 48 hours. Examples for inspiration: robot that uses body movement as input (hand, face, eyes, etc)robot that extends human ability (golf aimbot, telepathy/jedi force)robot on the human body (hait cutter, feeder, tooth brusher, eyes on back)inter-human communication device (secret morse coder, bone conducting speaker)interactive physical game (sword fighter, ping pong server, finger-wrestler) Parts We will provide you with: ESP-s,Servos (SG90),5V motors & controllers,Power supplies,LEDs, buttons, cables, breadboards, etc. Every team will have access to Formlabs SLA printers. Everything else you may need, you should bring. (sensors, RPIs, stepper/bldc motors & controllers, batteries, wheels, bearings, etc.) Teams Teams should have 3-5 members! Singles will be given opportunities to team up at the start of the event. Rules 1) Don't work on the task before we start! You can ideate and buy components, but it is forbidden to start building or to bring half-cooked projects. It isn't recommended to be hard-set on a problem either. 2) You can buy and bring parts from outside! Don't bring completed robots (robot arm, dog, drone, etc.) Sleep / stay / food The nights of the hackathon (during the 48 hours), intense students can sleep in the office (bring a sleeping bag if you plan to). Accommodation isn't available for the night before, but reach out to us via email (mail@bmerobotics.hu) if this is what's stopping you (we can help find a solution)!
