What is SpurHacks SpurHacks is Spur's premiere hackathon, poised to be Canada's largest hackathon hosted at RIM Campus - a venue with a rich history in Canadian history. This 3-day overnight event, running from June 20th to June 22nd, will welcome over 2,000 students from all across the Canadian tech sphere - SpurHacks is pioneering the next generation of Canadian technical and entrepreneurial talent. Spur enables a community that spurs innovation and support like no other incubator in Canada, offering unparalleled resources in quantum computing, high-performance computing, decentralized computing, and artificial intelligence. A strong and experienced mentorship program alongside a collaborative ecosystem has secured over $500M+ in assets under management and over 200 successful startups in the past decade. The Waterloo Region is one of the fastest-growing tech hubs on the planet—ranking second only to Silicon Valley in startup density.
