Join us for the finale of the inaugural Digital Irish Australia Hackathon - an evening of live pitches, community impact, and good company.
You don't have to be a hacker to be part of this night.
On Thursday 2 July, Digital Irish Australia in partnership with PagerDuty invites you to join us at Stone & Chalk - one of Australia's leading innovation hubs - for the grand finale of our inaugural hackathon. It's going to be a proper evening: live pitches, food, drinks, great networking, and a genuine celebration of what the Irish tech community in Sydney can do.
What's happening on the night
Throughout the week of 30 June, teams of Irish tech professionals in Sydney - developers, designers, product managers, and strategists - have been working on real challenges set by some of Sydney's most respected Irish community organisations:
The Ireland Funds Australia: building a Digital Archive to celebrate 40 years of philanthropic impact in AustraliaThe Irish Film Festival (Australia): transforming the online booking and audience experienceThe Gaelic Club: revitalising the digital membership card experience
When you arrive, teams will be putting the finishing touches on their work and preparing their pitches - and you'll be right in the middle of it. Then we come together for the main event: live presentations to the community groups and our judging panel, followed by the announcement of this year's winner.
