Overview

Join the 305 Hackathon’s Veterans & DefenseTech Edition — a collaborative innovation challenge hosted by Hack University and partner organizations.
Build technologies that support defense, resilience, and veteran-focused innovation through teamwork, mentorship, and hands-on development.

Participants may choose between the week-long online session or the one-day on-campus sprint.

Session A — Online Hybrid/Synchronous

Dates: Fri, Nov 7 → Sat, Nov 15
Format: Online Hybrid/Synchronous

Work remotely while participating in scheduled mentor hours, live checkpoints, and online support sessions.
Challenge prompts are announced at the closing ceremony (ET).
Note: Live demos are required — teams without a demo will receive no score.

Access:
Perks (API credits, software tools, and subscriptions) are available after completing the Hack University Participant “One-Stop Form” using your Google Account.

Session B — Fully In-Person

Date: Sat, Nov 15
Time: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET
Location: Florida International University

An intensive, one-day hackathon with workshops, mentor hours, and live presentations. Teams will build and pitch solutions before a panel of judges.

Access:
Perks (API credits, software tools, and subscriptions) are available after completing the Hack University Participant “One-Stop Form” using your Google Account.
