Teams pitch their business concept before a jury, demonstrating their grasp of the problem, proposed solution, target market, business model, financial viability, scalability, and future growth — while also getting a chance to discuss their ideas, seek clarity on commercialization, and gain insight into positioning innovations in the market. Guidelines Team Size 2 participants per team Pitch Structure Teams should cover the following areas in their pitch: Problem & Opportunity Solution & Value Proposition Target Customers Market & Competition Business & Revenue Model Go-to-Market Plan Financial Requirements & Projections Team & Execution Plan Future Roadmap Pitch Format 5 minutes: Presentation 3 minutes: Jury Q&A The time limit will be strictly enforced; teams may be stopped once presentation time ends Important Financial projections should be reasonable and supported by clear assumptions Teams should be prepared to defend their assumptions regarding pricing, market size, customer acquisition, and revenue Judging Criteria Criteria Weightage Problem & Solution 15% Innovation 15% Market Opportunity 15% Business Model 15% Revenue & Financial Viability 15% Scalability 10% Pitch Quality 10% Q&A 5% Total 100% Disqualification As per the common TechTrix'26 rules applicable to all events, the following will result in immediate disqualification: Misconduct with judges, volunteers, or organisers Physical altercation or deliberate damage to venue/property Cheating or plagiarism (e.g., presenting an idea that is not the team's own without disclosure) Use of another team's material or misrepresentation of participant identity Receiving unauthorized external assistance during the competition The Event Jury/Organizing Committee holds final authority on judging, penalties, disqualification, and interpretation of rules.
