About the challenge

DevMarketplace proposes a three-day launch and hackathon event at Sir Syed University of

Engineering & Technology for undergraduate students in Computer Science, Software Engineering,

Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and related programs. Student teams will identify a

real problem, shape a focused product concept, and build a working minimum viable product using AI-

assisted development and reusable code components.

The event is designed to move students beyond idea-only pitching. Every submitting team finishes

with a runnable prototype, a source repository, and a live demonstration. DevMarketplace funds and

runs the event end to end — platform access, AI model credits, mentors, refreshments, and prizes —

and asks the university for venue, outreach, and faculty coordination.
