Overview
Date: 13 October 2026Venue: IT Lab
The coding event will consist of two compulsory rounds.
Round 1: Debugging
Duration: 45 minutes
Questions: 2 Easy, 1 Medium, 1 Hard
Participants will be given erroneous code and must identify and fix the errors.
Round 2: Coding
Duration: 60 minutes
Questions: 2 Easy, 1 Medium, 1 Hard
Participants must write their own code to solve the given problems.
Sample Questions
Sample questions will be shared with participants two days before the event.
Event questions may be based on the samples, with slight modifications. They will not be completely different from the provided samples.
Programming Languages: Participants may use Java, C, Go, or Python.
Test Cases
Each question will have five test cases:
2 visible test cases
3 hidden test cases
Evaluation Criteria
Participants will be evaluated based on:
Score obtained for each question.
Number of questions attempted.
Time taken to solve each question.
The best submission for each question will be considered for evaluation.
Rules and Restrictions
Both rounds are compulsory.
Each round has its own global timer.
The use of AI tools, internet access, and external assistance is strictly prohibited.
