š§āāļø Mindful Makers Hack #16 - touch ./GRASS (again)
Mindful Makers is hosting a second OUTDOORS hackathon! It's time: Voice coding technology is now good enough. Let's build apps, soundscapes, and interactive meditations, all while enjoying nature and the warm weather of summer, with minimal screens involved (outdoors location TBD).
Please still bring your laptop for some configuration of voice vibe coding tools at the beginning. We will be using tools like https://openbase.cloud/, https://github.com/mbailey/voicemode, and Codex to enjoy time outside while still being creative and building technology. Also please bring headphones/airpods to minimize cross-communication between voice agents.
We'll spend the day designing and building apps, web apps, and other tools that promote mindfulness in everyday life. Our belief is that technology can deepen presence, connection, and well-being.
To test our creations, we'll use them ourselves in the days that follow ā and see if they truly cultivate ease, warmth, spaciousness, generosity, and connection.
š” Who Should Join
Meditators, biohackers, wellness enthusiasts: Some experience with meditation is encouraged (occasional dabblers are welcome!), as we will be meditating at the beginning.Non-coders welcome: You don't need to be a programmer ā we'll keep a balanced ratio of coders to non-coders (~1:1) so everyone can contribute meaningfully (laptop required). Just be prepared to learn how to build with AI, and potentially sign up for free trials of AI coding tools.
š See: mindfulmakers.xyz for more details.
