Quai × Blip Buildathon: Jos Build the next blockchain innovation with Quai Network and Blip Pay. Quai × Blip Buildathon is a student focused Web3 hackathon bringing together 200+ ambitious builders, designers, product thinkers, and entrepreneurs in Jos. Participants will work in teams to create original blockchain products using Quai Network, the Quai API, and the Blip Pay API. The challenge is simple: build something new. Your team must create a meaningful blockchain innovation on Quai that has not been built before ,whether it is a payments solution, campus product, financial tool, consumer app, creator platform, or another practical Web3 idea. This is not only a coding competition. Teams will develop a clear business plan, define the customer problem they are solving, and learn the fundamentals of sales and product growth. You will be challenged to build a product people can actually use and explain why it deserves to win. At the end of the hackathon, each team will present its product and pitch its business plan before a panel of judges, the African team, and the core Quai Network team. Winning teams will be selected based on innovation, technical execution, real world usefulness, business potential, and the strength of their pitch. The winning teams will share a prize pool of $1,000 to $5,000, alongside potential grants, ecosystem support, and recognition from Quai Network and Blip Pay. Come ready to build, learn, sell your vision, and compete to create the next big blockchain product from Africa.
