This program is designed for: - Indie hackers and solo builders - AI Agent developers - MCP server builders - Open-source maintainers - Automation and workflow creators - Existing AI or SaaS teams - Hackathon teams that want to continue beyond the demo You do not need to start from scratch. You may adapt an existing project into an Anna App. ## 💐What Can You Build? Your starting point may include: - Python or Node.js scripts - AI Agents - MCP servers - Multi-agent systems - Open-source projects - Existing AI or SaaS products - A completely new App idea The final submission must be a complete Anna Marketplace App that: - Is approved and published on the Anna Marketplace - Is fully runnable by users inside Anna - Has a clear user-facing interface - Includes working backend logic or execution - Provides genuine and independently usable functionality A repository, Agent, MCP server, demo video, or pitch deck alone is not an eligible final submission. ## 📚How the Program Works ### Phase 1: Build and Publish **July 29 – August 31, 2026** During the Build and Beta period, you can: 1. Create an Anna account 2. Activate your Developer Account 3. Build or migrate your App 4. Test your App locally 5. Upload and test your App version in Anna 6. Submit it for Anna App Review 7. Release it to the Anna Marketplace after approval August usage does not count toward cash rewards. ### Phase 2: Qualify as a Founding Builder **September 1 – November 30, 2026** Official MAU tracking begins on: **September 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC** To qualify for the initial Founding Builder cohort, your App must reach at least **200 Qualified App MAU** during one calendar month in September, October, or November. September includes a one-time Launch Boost. Apps first qualifying in October or November receive the applicable standard recurring monthly grant. ### Phase 3: Continue Earning **December 2026 and Beyond** November 30 is the qualification deadline for the initial Founding Builder cohort—not the end of the monthly grants. Once qualified, your App may continue participating in future monthly grant cycles as long as it meets the applicable MAU, availability, maintenance, verification, and compliance requirements. If your App falls below 200 Qualified App MAU during one month, payment pauses for that month. Eligibility may resume when the App reaches an eligible tier again. ## 💰Monthly Grant Tiers  ### Important Grant Rules - The September Launch Boost applies only to the September 1–30 cycle. - The Launch Boost replaces the standard recurring grant for September. - Each App receives the reward for the highest tier reached that month. - Tier rewards are not cumulative. - Every calendar month is measured and settled separately. - Approved grants are normally paid within 30 days after the measurement month ends. - The $80,000 amount is the total monthly Builder Program budget, not a single-App prize. ## ❓What Is Qualified App MAU? MAU means Monthly Active Users. One Qualified App MAU is one unique, signed-in Anna user who successfully completes at least one Qualified App Run during the applicable calendar month. A Qualified App Run must: - Be initiated by a valid, signed-in Anna user - Successfully execute the App’s declared primary function - Return a meaningful, non-trivial result Qualified usage may come from: - Free Anna Credits - Paid Anna Credits - BYOK — Bring Your Own Key Opening, viewing, or installing an App without completing its primary function does not count. Failed runs, test accounts, bots, device farms, coordinated self-runs, and artificial or meaningless usage are also excluded.
