Rules:
Every project must build and expose a working x402 endpoint on Algorand Testnet (Mainnet encouraged for final submission).
Each project must demonstrate the complete x402 payment flow: Challenge (402 Payment Required) → Client signs and retries → Facilitator verifies and settles → Response returns a transaction-linked receipt.
Projects must follow a pay-per-use pricing model, not a subscription model.
Every successful API response must include the Algorand transaction ID as proof of settlement.
Suggested/permitted tech stack: Client — @x402/fetch, @x402/avm; Server — @x402/hono, @x402/core/server; Facilitator — https://facilitator.goplausible.xyz; Settlement — USDC ASA.
Each team must submit a clearly identified paying-user use case and a real pay-per-call business model, not just a technical demo.
Clean documentation and deployment instructions must be submitted along with the project.
Each team gets a 5-minute live demo followed by a 3-minute Q&A during judging.
Judging criteria: Technical implementation, innovation, real-world impact, completeness/functionality, presentation quality, and alignment with the x402 Agentic Payments theme.
Final evaluation and winner selection will be jointly decided by faculty judges and the AlgoBharat team representative. Decisions are final.
Teams must adhere to the submission deadline (Project Submission & Documentation window: 12:30–01:00 PM on 12th August). Late submissions will not be evaluated.
Reuse of pre-built projects from before the hackathon start date is not allowed. Work must be original to the event timeline.
