AI Builders Challenge - North America

Ready to turn your AI ideas into something real? Join the AI Builders Challenge North America, a month-long virtual competition where college and university students can learn AI skills, build a real-world prototype, and compete for the $10,000 Grand Prize, with $15,000 in prizes overall. From November 2–December 2, students of all majors and AI skill levels are invited to learn, experiment, and build with IBM Bob. No coding experience is required, so whether you're just getting started with AI or already have technical experience, there's a place for you. Start by completing a required 15-minute IBM SkillsBuild introductory course, How IBM Bob and AI Tools Are Changing the Way Solutions Are Built, to develop foundational AI knowledge and learn how to get started with IBM Bob. Then, put your skills into action by choosing one of three challenge themes: AI for Good, AI for Business, or the Wildcard Challenge. Throughout the challenge, you'll have access to live webinars, mentors, technical resources, and project support to help you take your idea from concept to working prototype. Bring your ideas, build your skills, and see what you can create with AI. Register now! The Challenge is open to eligible university students 18 years of age or older who are legal residents of the United States of America or Canada, excluding the province of Quebec. Participation is subject to the Official Rules.
