AGENTX 2.0 is a national-level hackathon organized by HackQube, bringing together students, developers, AI enthusiasts, and innovators to build intelligent, technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.
The hackathon focuses on Artificial Intelligence, AI Agents, Agentic AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation. Participants will have the opportunity to transform ideas into functional prototypes that demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, practical applicability, and real-world impact.
Participants must select one of the official problem statements and develop a solution that addresses the specified challenge.
Eligibility Criteria
Students enrolled in recognized colleges or universities are eligible to participate.
Developers, AI enthusiasts, and aspiring innovators may participate, subject to the registration requirements.
Participants must provide accurate information during registration.
All participants must comply with the hackathon rules and submission guidelines.
Team Formation Rules
Team Size: 2–4 members per team.
Inter-college Teams: Allowed. Team members may belong to different colleges or universities.
Inter-specialization Teams: Allowed. Members from different academic disciplines and technical specializations may collaborate.
Each participant may be part of only one team.
Teams must provide accurate details for all members during registration.
One team must submit only one project for evaluation.
Official Problem Statements
Teams must select one of the following eight problem statements and develop a solution aligned with its objectives.
PS01: Agentic Workflow Automation
Build an AI agent that automates repetitive tasks by planning multi-step workflows, integrating external tools and APIs, executing actions, and verifying task completion.
PS02: Autonomous AI Software Engineer
Develop an AI agent that analyzes codebases, identifies bugs, proposes fixes, runs tests, and generates actionable reports to improve software development workflows.
PS03: Multi-Agent Research & Fact-Checking
Create a multi-agent system that researches complex topics, verifies information using reliable sources, identifies conflicting claims, and generates evidence-backed reports.
PS04: Personalized AI Learning Agent
Build an intelligent learning agent that identifies knowledge gaps, creates personalized learning paths, generates assessments, and adapts recommendations based on student progress.
PS05: AI Operations Agent for Businesses
Develop an AI agent that streamlines business operations by analyzing data, managing routine workflows, identifying exceptions, and recommending actions with appropriate human oversight.
PS06: AI-Powered Cybersecurity Triage
Create a defensive AI agent that analyzes security logs, correlates alerts, detects suspicious activities, and recommends safe remediation steps.
PS07: Smart Energy & Sustainability Agent
Build an AI agent that analyzes energy consumption data, identifies inefficiencies, predicts potential wastage, and recommends actionable sustainability improvements.
PS08: Startup Co-Pilot Agent
Develop a multi-agent system that assists early-stage founders with market research, competitor analysis, customer profiling, idea validation, and execution planning.
Competition Format
The competition will follow the official schedule and format announced by HackQube.
The proposed process includes:
Registration: Eligible participants register through Unstop in teams of 2–4 members.
Problem Statement Selection: Each team selects one official problem statement from PS01 to PS08.
Solution Development: Teams design and develop their solutions using appropriate technologies, APIs, frameworks, and AI tools.
Project Submission: Teams submit the required project details and demonstration materials before the official deadline.
Evaluation: Judges assess projects according to the published evaluation criteria.
Final Results: Winners are determined based on evaluation scores and the final decision of the judging panel.
The round-wise schedule, duration, submission deadline, and grand finale details will be communicated through official event announcements.
Project Submission Guidelines
Each team must submit the materials specified by the organizers. These may include:
Project title and selected problem statement.
Problem overview and proposed solution.
Key features and explanation of the approach.
Working prototype or functional demonstration.
Source-code repository link, if required.
Presentation or pitch deck, if required.
Technology stack, APIs, frameworks, and AI tools used.
Explanation of the solution's feasibility, impact, and scalability.
All required submissions must be completed before the official deadline. Late or incomplete submissions may be disqualified.
Judging Criteria
Projects may be evaluated on the following parameters:
Innovation: Originality and creativity of the proposed solution.
Technical Implementation: Quality, functionality, and effective use of AI and other technologies.
Problem Relevance: Effectiveness in addressing the selected problem statement.
Feasibility and Scalability: Practical applicability and potential for further development.
User Experience: Usability, accessibility, and clarity of the solution.
Presentation and Demonstration: Quality of the project explanation, working demo, and responses to judges' questions.
The final scoring weights and any additional evaluation requirements will be communicated by the organizers.
Rules and Code of Conduct
All submissions must address one of the official problem statements.
Plagiarism, fraudulent registrations, misrepresentation of contributions, and presenting copied work as original are prohibited.
Teams must disclose relevant third-party code, datasets, APIs, AI models, and tools used in their projects when requested.
Participants must have the necessary rights and permissions to use submitted code, content, datasets, and other materials.
