Ignite the Spark Ideathon

Ignite the Spark Ideathon A joint event between the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre (MEC) and Enactus Manchester. The Ignite the Spark Ideathon is a short, social-impact focused idea generation hackathon designed to bring together students interested in innovation, entrepreneurship and community impact. In just two hours, participants will collaborate in small teams to develop creative and practical solutions to address a social issue. This event is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills, meet like-minded innovators, and tackle exciting real-world challenges. Join us for this quick-paced, interactive challenge! ​Event Details ​📅 Date: Monday 8th December 2025📍 Location: Room 10.007 Penthouse, Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS)⏰ Time: 3.45pm - 6.30pm Event Format ● Icebreaker & Team Formation: A quick interactive activity to help participants form teams. ● Problem Question: Social-impact issues will be presented for all teams to chose one to address. ● Ideation Sprint: Teams will work for one hour to design an innovative solution (technology, campaign, or any impactful project). ● Pitch Presentations: Each team will present for 3 minutes with 3 minutes Q&A.
