“Roots” is a competitive Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) track designed to test analytical thinking and coding skills across different academic levels. The competition consists of two rounds: an online MCQ-based screening followed by an in-person coding contest.
Guidelines:
The competition will consist of an online screening round followed by an in-person final round.
Questions will be based on core Data Structures and Algorithms concepts.
Separate evaluation tracks may be followed for different academic years to ensure fair assessment.
Shortlisting for the final round will be based on performance in the online quiz.
Participants are expected to have basic knowledge of programming and problem-solving.
The number of questions and duration will be communicated before each round.
Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate students of the Academy of Technology (1st to 4th Year).
Participation:
Individual participation only.
Inter-department participation is allowed.
Rules:
Participants must register using valid details; multiple entries may lead to disqualification.
Use of unfair means, external assistance, or malpractice during any round is strictly prohibited.
Participants must adhere to the instructions and timelines shared for each round.
For the offline round, participants must be physically present at the venue.
Any form of misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.
The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding in all cases.
