About the Event: Buildathon 2026 is an innovation-driven competition where participants transform creative ideas into real-world solutions. The event is designed to encourage innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and technical excellence by challenging participants to identify a real-world problem and develop a functional prototype. Unlike a traditional hackathon that focuses only on coding, Buildathon emphasizes the complete product development journey—from ideation and planning to designing, building, and presenting a working solution. Whether you're passionate about AI, Web Development, Mobile Apps, IoT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or any other technology, Buildathon provides the perfect platform to showcase your creativity and technical skills. Event Structure: Round 1 – IdeaForge (Idea Submission) In the first round, teams will present their innovative idea by submitting a proposal through the official Google Form. Each submission should include: Team Name Team Members' Details Problem Statement Proposed Solution Target Audience Key Features Technology Stack Expected Impact Evaluation Criteria: Innovation & Creativity Relevance of the Problem Feasibility of the Solution Scalability Overall Presentation The top-performing teams will qualify for the final round. Round 2 – Build & Showcase Qualified teams will develop a working prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on their Round 1 idea. At the end of the build session, teams will present a live demonstration of their project before the judging panel. Final Presentation should include: Problem Statement Solution Overview Live Prototype Demonstration Technical Architecture Future Scope Q&A with Judges Evaluation Criteria: Functionality Technical Implementation Innovation UI/UX Design Practical Impact Presentation & Demo Team Collaboration Team Size: Individual participation or teams of 2–4 members (as per organizer guidelines).
