The GIEC Assistive Tech Immersive Challenge 2026 invites passionate innovators, engineering students, researchers, and startup teams to design futuristic assistive technology solutions that improve independence, accessibility, and mobility for people with disabilities. Participants will explore existing assistive technologies such as: Glidance Lighthouse TAMI XanderGlasses and propose innovative next-generation solutions using AI, XR, sensors, spatial audio, wearable systems, and accessibility-focused technologies. Challenge Themes: Assistive Technology XR Innovation AI for Accessibility Smart Wearables Mobility Solutions Vision Assistance Hearing Assistance Eligibility: Final Year BE / BTech Students PG Students Research Scholars Innovation-focused Teams Rounds Structure: Round 1 — Idea Submission: Submit proposal through Google Form. Round 2 — Screening & Expert Review: Ideas evaluated by expert panel.
