About the Competition: Welcome to the ultimate programming arena of Fugacity 2026. Passionate programmers and problem solvers, this high-stakes competition is designed to challenge your mastery of data structures, algorithms, and logical optimization. Every problem is crafted to test your algorithmic efficiency and problem-solving skills. Event Format: Mode: Offline Duration: 90 Minutes Venue: CAPE Laboratory, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur Important Dates: Registrations Open: 17 July 2026 Competition Date: 30 August 2026 Result Declaration: 30 August 2026 Guidelines: Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized college or university. Participation Type: Individual participation only. Proctoring: The competition is fully offline and proctored at the CAPE Laboratory, IIT Kharagpur. Any form of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification. Languages Supported: C, C++, Java, and Python. Platform: The coding environment, login credentials, and reporting instructions will be shared with registered participants before the competition. Rules of the Competition: All submissions will be evaluated using automated test cases based on correctness, time complexity, and memory utilization. Code sharing, plagiarism, or the use of unauthorized external materials or AI tools will result in immediate disqualification. The decisions of the Fugacity 2026 organizing committee and judges will be final and binding. Important Disclaimer: Travel and lodging will not be provided by the Fugacity 2026 organizing team. Participants traveling from outside Kharagpur must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Prizes and Recognition: Winners and runners-up will receive Merit Certificates and Cash Prizes. All finalists will receive Finalist Certificates.
