For the next hack in this series, we're going beyond LLM workflows and into the physical world. Zeon Systems is building a simulation-first platform that makes it seamless to develop, verify, and deploy automation for the bench. This is the first chance for the community to build on it.
No pre-reqs. All scientists, software, and hardware engineers welcome. We welcome all skill levels and can support 50 builders.
Teams will design and test in simulation, then verify on real lab hardware. You'll have robotic arms, 3d printers, labware, cameras, and more for you. You can bring your own too: VR headsets, sensors, cameras, and more.
You must be able to stay through demo on Sunday to participate in the hack. Everyone joining will be expected to demo something by end of the weekend.
Track A: Close the loop with robotics.
Use AI and robotics to close the loop on a real scientific experiment.
Teams will build workflows that connect experimental planning, robotic execution, measurement, and follow-up.
More details TBA.
Track B: Physical Integration with OpenShelf
We'll have a challenge for integrating what happens on the bench with surrounding hardware.
Track C: Open build for dexterity and physical verification
We'll have extra robotic arms, cameras, and 3d printers for you to build on some dexterity challenges.
You can also bring your own hardware.
