About the challenge The Battle of Bands ft. Ambassadors is a creative competition where you and your crew build a unique band identity and drop an original anthem using advanced AI tools.
The Brief: Form a team of up to three members and pick any theme that resonates with you-whether it's college life, daily struggles, or a specific feeling - and create in any language.
The Goal: Use Gemini to write your band's creative brief, Lyria to generate a high-fidelity audio track, and Nano Banana to design a professional band poster.
The Showcase: Present your 60-second performance live, featuring your poster on screen while your track plays for the room to hear.
The Reward: Beyond the glory, participants can win Google Pixel Buds 2A (in final stage) for their entire crew (max 3 memebers), winner's certificates, and participation certificates. Note : Must attend the workshop 24 or 25 June 2026.
Get started Follow these steps to ensure you are ready for the build: Set Up Your Account: Sign in at gemini.google.com and ensure you have access to Gemini tools and Lyria. Switch to Gemini Pro: Select Gemini Pro model from the drop down menu on the right hand side. Prepare Your Hardware: Bring a laptop, as Lyria and Nano Banana are optimized for desktop browsers. Form Your Crew: Decide on your three-person team beforehand and come prepared with a rough idea for your "campus beef" or band theme. Brainstorm with Gemini: Once the timer starts, ask Gemini to suggest band names, sharpen your creative brief, or help spark your initial track concept.
