gm builders 👋
We’re kicking off Hackathon Bootcamp (SMU) – a 4-part Solana builder track with Superteam SG to help you actually ship something onchain (not just sit through slides😱😱😱).
Here’s the flow:
Session 0 – Kickoff & Primer
What this bootcamp is about, how Solana fits into the broader crypto landscape, what “onchain products” actually look like, and how this leads into Colosseum.
Session 1 – SVM vs EVM (Why Solana Feels Different)
Deep dive into SVM vs EVM, accounts, and how Solana apps are structured – so the rest of the course actually makes sense.
Session 2 – You Ship: Counter Program
Hands-on build of a simple counter program on Solana. You’ll write code, deploy, break things, and see your first onchain interaction end-to-end.
Session 3 – Builder Stack + Vibecoding + Next Steps
Walkthrough of the Solana dev stack, tools like Vibecoding, how to move fast without yolo-ing security, and what to do next if you want to take your project into a hackathon or beyond.
❗️All sessions are IRL at SMU, hosted by Superteam SG (Community of founders/devs/operators in the Solana Ecosystem) and SMU Blockchain. If you’ve been meaning to “get into crypto dev” but haven’t shipped anything yet, this is your reason 🤓☝️
