CodeFusion 2026 is a collaborative inter-university coding competition organized by HackerRank Campus Crew ambassadors from leading institutions across India and Thailand.
Bringing together students from different universities, disciplines, and backgrounds, CodeFusion provides a platform to compete, learn, and showcase problem-solving abilities through assessments, coding challenges, and an exciting hackathon finale.
Whether you are a beginner exploring competitive programming or an experienced coder looking to challenge yourself against top talent, CodeFusion offers a unique opportunity to compete on a global leaderboard and gain recognition among a diverse community of student innovators.
Eligibility:
The competition is open to students from all universities and colleges.
Students from any institution are welcome to participate and compete on the same leaderboard.
Participants will compete individually in Round Alpha and Round Beta. Top performers based on cumulative scores will qualify for the hackathon. Team formation guidelines and team size details will be communicated to shortlisted participants before the Grand Finale.

Competition Format:
Round Alpha: 24 June 2026 ( Duration: 2 Hours )
The first assessment round will evaluate participants through a structured set of coding and problem-solving challenges designed to test technical fundamentals and analytical thinking.
Participants will attempt an online assessment designed to evaluate:
Logical Reasoning
Technical Fundamentals
Analytical Thinking
Problem-Solving Skills
Coding Aptitude
The assessment will be conducted on the HackerRank platform. The assessment link will updated shortly.
Round Beta : 25 June 2026 ( Duration: 2 Hours )
The second assessment round will further assess problem-solving abilities with a new set of challenges. This round provides participants with an opportunity to improve their cumulative score and strengthen their chances of qualification.
Final Shortlisting:
The scores obtained in both rounds will be aggregated to create the final leaderboard. Participants with the highest cumulative scores will be shortlisted for the final hackathon round.
Important: Participants who do not attempt one of the rounds will receive a lower overall score, which may adversely affect their chances of being shortlisted.
Grand Finale Hackathon : 27-29 June 2026 ( Duration: 48-72 Hours )
Top-performing participants from the assessment rounds will qualify for the final hackathon.
Participants will work on a challenge statement and submit their solutions within the allotted submission window.

Rules & Guidelines:
