HackQuest 2026 is a national-level online coding competition organized by Oriental College of Technology. The challenge is designed to test participants' problem-solving abilities, programming skills, logical thinking, and algorithmic knowledge through a series of exciting coding problems. Whether you're just beginning your coding journey or preparing for placements, HackQuest 2026 offers an excellent platform to showcase your talent, compete with students across the country, and win exciting rewards. Objectives: Encourage competitive programming among students. Enhance problem-solving and analytical thinking. Provide placement-oriented coding experience. Identify and reward talented programmers. Promote innovation and technical excellence. Eligibility: Open to all college students across India. Students from any branch or year can participate. Individual participation. Professionals and coding enthusiasts are also welcome. Competition Format: Round 1 – Online Coding Challenge Duration: 120 Minutes Participants will solve: Easy Programming Problems Medium Algorithmic Challenges Debugging Questions Data Structures Problems Logical Programming Mathematical Programming Difficulty:Easy → Medium → Hard Languages Supported: C C++ Java Python JavaScript Evaluation Criteria: Participants will be ranked based on: Number of problems solved Correctness Execution efficiency Time taken Tie-breaker based on earliest successful submission Rewards: Winner Certificate Runner-Up Certificate Second Runner-Up Certificate Participation Certificate for all eligible participants Recognition on the institute's social media Rules: Internet connection is the participant's responsibility. Use of unfair means is strictly prohibited. Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification. Decisions made by the organizing committee will be final. Participants should register before the deadline. Only one registration per participant/team is allowed. Late submissions will not be evaluated.
