About the Competition: Design. Prototype. Impress. Can you transform an idea into an exceptional user experience? Figma UI/UX Design is a two-round design challenge where participants solve a real-world problem by creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly digital experiences using Figma. Showcase your creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving skills by building innovative UI/UX solutions. Event Highlights: Round 1 – Design Challenge: A surprise theme or problem statement will be revealed at the beginning of the event. Teams must analyze the problem, identify the target users, and design a complete UI/UX solution using Figma. Participants are expected to: Design the required UI screens. Create a basic interactive prototype. Develop a clear user flow. Organize their Figma file for submission. Duration: 25 minutes Only the shortlisted teams will advance to the final round. Round 2 – Design Presentation: Shortlisted teams will present their design solution before the judging panel. Each team will: Explain the problem and target users. Present their design approach and solution. Demonstrate the interactive Figma prototype. Answer questions from the judges regarding their design decisions. Presentation Time: 5 minutes Submission Requirements: Each team must submit: Figma project link Final UI screens Interactive prototype Brief explanation of the solution Team member details Why Participate? Showcase your UI/UX design and prototyping skills. Solve real-world design problems creatively. Improve your design thinking and user experience knowledge. Present your ideas before experienced judges. Compete with talented designers and developers. Event Guidelines: All designs must be created using Figma. The theme will be revealed only at the start of the event. Previously created projects or templates are not allowed. Internet may be used only for research and inspiration. Direct copying or plagiarism is strictly prohibited. AI tools may be used only for ideation or research, if permitted by the organizers. Submit the Figma file or link before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted. The judges' decision will be final. Evaluation Criteria: UI Design & Visual Quality – 25% UX & Usability – 25% Creativity & Innovation – 20% Problem Understanding & Solution – 20% Presentation & Prototype Demonstration – 10% Winning Criteria: The top three teams with the highest overall scores in Round 2 will be declared the winners.
